Looking for a 08-13 yz front caliper and master cylinder. 125 250 or 450 will work.
** I have a question, the master cylinder has been rebuilt, new front brake line, new pads, its been bled with new fluid and the front brake still locks up when it gets hot**
any ideas?
When we put a 2010 yz250f complete caliper to master cylinder on it worked flawlessly.
this is on a 2011 yz450.
Any thoughts? trying to get this al figured out so I can ride soon.
Thanks.

Could you have any dirt in it? One speck of dirt or sand could cause that problem. ..

Have you rebuilt the front caliper the cup seal could cause that. The cup seal is whet retracts the piston.

** I have a question, the master cylinder has been rebuilt, new front brake line, new pads, its been bled with new fluid and the front brake still locks up when it gets hot** Its got air in the line, the heat causes the air to expand and the brake to lock up. It needs to be bled better.

Thank you Layne, its been rebuilt by rich at motosource and its still locking up. Ill hook an air bleeder up to it and just run a lot of fluid through it and make sure its not a bent lever or anything.

It needs to be bled better. Not sure about being blead "better" but it may need blead again. I looked it up Jamie and it was 5 months ago when you were last in. Has the bike been sitting or have you been riding it? If you're having a problem, I think it best that you speak to me directly. If you would like, I can blead it again for you. It is common to Yamahas for having front brake problems on their mx bikes.

Hey thanks rich. its nothing you did, all the parts are new, all the fluid is new. we think it was just a junk moose lever. the bike ended up being sold. we couldn't figure it out, and we all got so frustrated with the darn thing. we probably should of took your advice with the braided line, haha but the new owner I'm sure will get her all handled. thanks again rich
