Some of you may have noticed that the "Parents" thread is no longer here. I removed it because a family member of one of the riders in the video asked me to, and said that he was also trying to get the video down from YouTube. That, to my mind, would end the need for that particular discussion, so I decided to remove the post in advance.
Hope that suits everyone, but if it doesn't...you know where my office is.
(Right here, by the way.)

Robert, you and the Potter family have every right to remove this thread.
Personally, I would be ashamed should this be a member of my family. It is my sincere hope that the Potter family can address this and solve this issue amongst themselves.
That being said, this video sparked a conversation regarding an overall behavior and reputation issue that is the business of all members of the MX community-- I hate to see that part gone.
If anyone would like to continue dialogue with me on this issue. Please feel free to PM me or email me at leslie706@gmail.com.
I am sincere in my efforts in trying to help clean up this sport and our reputation.

I am glad to see that at least one of boys' family members is aware. Hopefully they will take care of the incident.

i was in the middle of reading that. Sorry about that. Leslie, you should feel free to continue the discussion of the issues here. I just wanted to let the family begin to put their involvement in the scandal behind them.

This is a HUGE issue in the MX scene. I have alerted many of our area promotors of very reputable names using drugs before, during and after the races ( AT THE TRACK! ) and have been told by EVERY SINGLE one of those promotors that I should mind my own business. However, if a child gets injured because one of these punks is high, whose fault would it be then? I say it's the promotors. Would their insurance be able to handle that kind of a lawsuit? I'm glad to see that one of the families is taking responsibility. Now will the other ones step up? We as a MX community need to band together and FORBID this kind of behavior. Do we need a child killed on the track before it happens? I hope not.

Seriously, I don't beleive that it should matter to any of you what someone does in their personal life. It may be on Youtube, but that dosent mean yoyu have any kind of right to say anything about it? No. So i think that all of you is not to judge anyone for what they do and only who they are. Also, if you care about this kind of behavior, that is wonderful, that dosent mean you have to go saying names like that. who cares who it is, only that its happening and that something needs to be done about it.

Seriously, I don't beleive that it should matter to any of you what someone does in their personal life. I can agree with you to a certain point, but when their actions can endanger me and I have to put my safety on the line due to their personal choices, I think it's time to draw the line.
It may be on Youtube, but that dosent mean yoyu have any kind of right to say anything about it? No. Please show me where I have no right to comment on a video or voice my opinion on a video.
So i think that all of you is not to judge anyone for what they do and only who they are. Doesn't what you do as a person make who you are as a person? A man/lady murders a child. Is he/she a murderer? Or should we not judge him/her as a person because of what he/she did? Since when does someones actions not apply to them? Also, if you care about this kind of behavior, that is wonderful, that dosent mean you have to go saying names like that. who cares who it is, only that its happening and that something needs to be done about it. I take it you missed the video and the whole thread itself. The three individuals let us know exactly who they are and what they were doing. They looked awfully proud of their actions to me. ;D

They have made the act public property by posting it.
