We have one bike going in next week and one the following week, for the valve replacement.
Hopefully, we don't have any problems before then!

Wow, lets analize all this in the past year or so...
RC started out with endless mechanical problems on his new Suzuki costing him wins.
Bubba continues to have mechanical problems with his Kawasaki costing him wins.
Chad reed isn't special, he's also had his share of mechanical problems costing him wins on his Yamaha.
Someone help me out here, because I might be missing it, but has anyone recently had any mechanical problems on a Honda costing them wins?

1. RC's problems were caused by crashes and suspension. Suzuki uses Showa, the same suspension company as Honda.
2. How many 450 races has Honda won this year? Suzuki is working on its 2 championship. Go figure. Don't get me wrong, Honda makes a great bike but so does Suzuki.
I'm not a big Yamaha or Kawasaki fan having owned both.
The engine in my 03 KTM 525SX has yet to meet its match, the rest of the bike is another story.

RC's problems early on with Suzuki had nothing to do with his suspension.
I've owned all myself at one time or another, finally did my homework and went with Honda.
Don't tell Layne this because BVH pays me millions to say good things about them (do say this to anyone else though willing to pay me more).
Come on, thats a pathetic question asking what Honda 450 racers won this year, Honda didn't have any of the top racers this year who could win on any bike like RC, Stewart, Reed would do. Rather than wasteing their money on a top rider who everyone knows could win on any bike and make for advertisement to the ignorant Honda instead decided to better invest those millions to better development. The normal riders who did race on Hondas did consistantly well and didn't have any bike problems, just like RC never did before he switched over and instantly began having endless problems.
I think it says alot when the top three riders in the world, who have absolute access to the best the world can offer, all have continual bike problems. To me that says alot, if even the best of the best with the best mechanics money can buy lose races due to bike problems, well then your bikes have some major problems. Funny, RC never had any of these problems when he was on a Honda and winning every single race. Something Suzuki never gave him.
Please, lets not even begin talking about KTM.

RC's problems early on with Suzuki had nothing to do with his suspension. Check your facts. It was a broken SHOCK collar that caused issues early in the season.

I know the guys at Yamaha of Troy will be happy! Matt Walker has had tons of valve issues in his race bikes!
