I agree with what your saying, but if that's how it is then it should be fair across the entire spectrum in that same way, the riders ability, not his bike size or age.

Once you advance from the 80cc and below class and jump up to the bigger bikes ie. 125/250F & 250/450F You can bump down one level. That is the only time you can do this unless you are a vet rider. Once you move up to the bigger bikes then your points are combined together because you abilities will increase on both bikes. The bikes are the same size with a bit of a weight difference and power to the wheels. This I feel is a great way that was developed years ago. If you disagree with this please refer your question to our rider rep Robert B.. He will then bring it to our next meeting and discuss it. Thank You! Mark Cody MxWestRacing V.P.

Yes you will be able to do it Friday Night! You can either pay $5 for one race event or $10 for the rest of the year.

But if he wants to renew for a year it's still $20, Right?

mxracersmom, MXWEST is having a $10.00 for the remainder of the year. This will cover all the summer series races, and the upcoming fall series. The cards have been going by calendar year, not by 12 months from date of payment.
(previously, we would have charged $20.00 regardless of when during the calendar year the membership is renewed)

Also, you may contact MXWEST representatives at the email addresses posted at www.mxwestracing.org/with any questions. It may be less confusing to do a private dialog, and post one message on the public forums with a complete answer.

I think that rocks you guys are doing the pre entry thing, but your doing it by fax. Who has a fax machine at home, who for that matter is still paying for a land line at home to hook a fax machine up to. Why not just let everyone submit their pre entry on the MX West website?
I offered this to anyone a while back with the only stipulation being you don't charge people extra for using my code since I'm not charging anyone to use it.
Everything you need to do it is easily located on two simple text files I've written that you can customize and edit easily how ever you see fit, or I'll edit them for you as you wish. All you need to do is upload my script to your web site and provide a link to it. The HTML code on the one text file and the PHP code on the other text file will handle everything for you and email the entry to what ever email account you want it to go to. All of it is total open source I've written.
Why have people be forced to download and install a pdf program, then still pencil in the information and find a fax machine to send it in when it can be made much easier on everyone by just uploading 2 simple text files I spent weeks writting and developing to make it that simple on your web site?
I had no idea kelly told people at our last Mustang race to email her their entries till at the race and heard someone say they entered online and I was like what? If anyone wants to do online registrations just ask me and I'll help you get it done, from simple registrations to if you want to be more elaborate and actually take and confirm the payments on line.
Mark, just ask and the source code I wrote to do this is yours. You can open the text files in notepad and further edit them till your hearts content, I write all my code clean with internal notes indicating what portions of the code are for what reason so anyone with just the most basic of HTML experience can pick up on it. The script I wrote to do all this with is written in PHP. PHP is already installed on the MX West web site so there's nothing more you need to do but edit and upload the 2 text files I wrote to have it working.
I'm what seems to be one of the few remaining old school computer geeks who still thinks whats developed as far as code should be done so for the internet community as a whole and free of charge to anyone who wants to use it, as well as all the source code for that code remaining as open source and available to anyone to review that code for, lets just say, flaws in it.
Ask, and you shall recieve, that applies to anyone.

Cool Tony, I am interested in incorporating this. Continuous improvement for the riders is a good thing.
