A clue: Kevin Windham's first national was just a week before his second at Mt. Morris. And those were his first Pro races altogether.

1. Jeremy McGrath holds the supercross win record at 70 wins. But what rider did he take the record from and how many wins did he have? Ezra Lusk and he like 75 or so...
2. In 1992, nearly every major star in American motocross opted not to ride the MX des Nations. The result was an American "B team" that went and won the event anyway. Name each rider of the team and what size bike they rode. Bob Hannah 250, Marty Moates 500 and Ricky Ryan 125.
3. In 1989, Rick Johnson's career took a downturn when a rider landed on his wrist in practice at the Gainesville, Florida 250 national. RJ never was the same after the bone healed. What was the name of the rider who landed on RJ? Brian Deegan, darn Metal Mulisha!
4. Kevin Windham rose to national attention as a Team Green rider in 1994 when he nearly won a moto in his second-ever 125cc national at Mt. Morris. What rider nipped him for the win on the last lap and what number was each rider wearing that day? (Hint: KW appeared on the cover of MXA shortly after with the same number.) Broc Glover and KW had #775
5. Australia's Chad Reed (2004) and France's Jean Michel Bayle (1991) are the two most recent foreign-born riders to win a 250cc Supercross championship. But who was the last foreign-born rider to win the championship before these two? Stefan Everts

Hey Mr Moto, I agree with your answers except #4. Kw was #917 and on a Husky. Remember them? That was their last harrah!! Bob716SR (Robert, did I spell "harrah" correctly?)

1) Johnson 28 2) Liles, Larocco, Emig 3) Storbeck 4) Henry,1 Windham,510 5) Ward We have a winner! Larry was the only one to know that Jeff Ward--the '87 SX title winner who most of us know as an American--was actually born in Scotland. He was also the only one to realize that since it was Windham's first season, he would be running a three-digit number, not #38 (which he wore in '96 as a Yamaha pilot.) And, of course, since Henry was the '93 125cc national champ, he was running #1 in '94 (they did that back in the day.) Well done, Larry! You should have some treats waiting for you on your next trip to BVH. And thanks to everyone who played along. You might get another chance if I can dream up more questions and Layne can supply more goods...
