www.transworldmotocross.com/mx/how_to/article/0,13190,1215721,00.html today I got a flat at mustang and my tire was pretty beat down so when I got home and checked all my usual moto sites i noticed this Tuesday tip on Transworld motocross and it in spired me to go change a tire at 9:00 at night i applied all of his techniques and it made the change a breeze the only thing i need is one of those nifty beed lock things Ive noticed them before but after seeing one in action I've decided that they would be very useful. I LOVE TUESDAY TIPS!

Every tire change in which my knuckles don't bleed is a success.
My favorite is when you've had a tire on for, like, three months and it's shaped to the rim and it's 40 degrees in the garage. I invent new obscenities when I exhaust the usual expletives on those occasions. It's the only thing that gets me through.

I found warming the tires with a heat gun helps on those chilly days. I also have a hacksaw and sledge hammer as backup.

My last tire change was pretty easy. I warmed up the rear tire in my trunk to and from work, so it was relatively easy for the kid at RMS in Fallon to change it for me. ;D Plus, $10 smackers is very reasonable for keeping ALL the skin on your knuckles.

(Garage door open) I remembered a time on a warm afternoon where Steve and I were both trying to change a tire in the garage. (Garage door closed) Eventually, we closed the garage door as there were two sweaty naked people battling and screaming at a silly tire! ;D
