What an awesome place!!!! I would recommend it to anybody for a national to watch! Our own Jimmy Hazel qualified for his first national for a 27th overall! Bobby Garrison didn't have a very good day, he had a rough time in the qualifiers and is fight a case of strep throat! He was out there giving it the onion and thing just didn't work out. Let me tell you it was hot! And Jimmy was feeling the effects of the heat after riding two qualifiers and two thirty minute motos! It was soo hot that some of the factory riders had problems with there fuel boiling. It caused Chad Reed to DNF the first moto Think about it.....boiling gas, sounds scary. To give everybody a idea how hard it is to qualify for a AMA national on Sunday.....Its a 150 buck entry for a three lap qualifier and a three lap last chance. If you dint make it you can either pack it up and head home or sit around and watch the RC show.

I saw that! Way to go, Jimmy.
The nationals sure are rough. You have to spend a fortune just for the chance to get your posterior handed to you by RC and the rest--and that's if you make the show, which is really tough for the average privateer.
That said, it's good to see our local guys making a dent.
