The highlight of Grant Langston's season has to be winning the 250F West Supercross Championship, because starting with the 250F East/West shootout at Las Vegas (where he dislocated his wrist) everything has gone downhill in a hurry. Always a threat to win races, Grant has been battling one injury after another.
To add further insult to injury we just got word from Grant's team manager Mitch Payton, that Grant broke his ankle practicing in Florida this week while on the comeback trail. Just how severe the break is has yet to be determined, but initial x-rays definitely showed a crack through the bone.
Knowing that Grant is headed for Yamaha and the 450 Class next year, Mitch's advice to Grant was to get healthy and not worry too much about the rest of the 2006 season.

Good advice. Langston needs to be completely healthy if he's to have any chance of making a dent on the 450.
