Need to find a way to keep riders from double dipping in practice it's not safe. Maybe little numbered or colored stickers on the front plate so the people letting riders on the track can see what class they should be practicing in?

Hi I was just wondering what the rules are for the 85s as far as small wheels and big wheels? Last race we went to both size wheels were in every class. Reading the rules of SMRA it's not very clear. Any advise or help would be great we were planning on coming back up this weekend and would like to run the larger wheels this time if it's allowed?
Thanks Joe R.

Any chance of getting the kid track open it gives everyone more practice time and makes race day go alittle faster too. Just a thought.

We all ways try… I don’t know anybody in this area that doesn’t try to prevent it. But there always to be a few that have to break the rules. Best clarification is to call SMRA of their rulebook 775-530-8226Any chance of getting the kid track open it gives everyone more practice time and makes race day go alittle faster too. Just a thought. Not 100% sure what you’re asking, but the pee wee track will be part of the regular race track

Thanks for putting on the race, my little guys will be there, however...
A stand alone pee-wee track sets Fernley and a few other tracks apart. The kids can burn lots of laps and rest when the adults are not affected. Most the kids are not in title contention but learning to love to ride. The parents have already paid the cash in hopes that their kid will buy in to the sport and excel. For those of us who are trying to get our kids to love the sport, an unlimited practice track encourages them to ride and brings those parents back to pay for practice/spectator fees.
The fast kids/adults will race regardless. Fernley has lots of room, combine the East and West tracks to satisfy the adults and let the little guys/girls burn laps and feel like they have their own track.
Probably not faster on race day because we all use the same start gate but lots more unleaded burned on practice day. Just thinking of the Motocross economy!!!
Thanks----------------Seth
Ps. Bigger Thanks to the track builders and organizers.

Bigger Thanks to the track builders and organizers. Thank you!! For the post Seth. But when we had a separate pee wee track it wasn't open for free riding during race day. We just don't have the turn out to justify it which leads into not having the man power or the medics to cover both tracks. I hope sometime soon we will get there again!!! But for now its not in the cards. Looks like the weather is gonna be awesome!
