So, the stead race was promoted as a 150% Pro payback...nowhere did it state that if you are a 20+, 30+, or 40+ pro that this did not apply to you. However, the only Pros that were given this payback were the 250/450 pros. Also, the transponders that everyone paid for did not even work this weekend. Rumor has it, they knew they were not going to work for Sunday's race, but people had already paid for them during the week and cheap-os (i.e. Ty) did not want to have to give all of those people their money back. Every race that Ty puts on ends up with pissed of people. It never fails yet he wonders why he can never get a good amount of Pros out at his races. I heard a lot of pissed off 50 parents, just to mention a few, because some of the riders ended up on the big track instead of staying on the pee wee track and the race ended up having to be re-run. It's s*** like this that makes people not want to return and waste their money. Also, when did this crap start where riders have to pay $10 at the gate AND pay to ride. I've never seen that before until this year. These people are turning our once fun sport into a business deal and they don't care who they step on or piss off in the process. Not to mention the fact that Ty promises stuff to many people and then when it comes down to it, he never comes through. I know I'm not the only one who has seen and has had enough of this, so I figured I'd post it here and call it as it is.

You can never please everyone I guess, I thought it ran pretty well. Aside from the transponders not working the whole time. It's a new system sure it's not going to work flawlessly the first time give them a break. Those guys spent all week at the track prepping it so we had new design to ride and it was good! The day ran good and nobody got ran over after they fell so I guess the flagging was good. The only complaint/suggestion is why don't the beginners ride in the early moto's before the track get so beat up. It seems it would be safer for the newer riders to be on a clean track not that stead got that bad this weekend. I applaud Club775mx for putting on an awesome weekend, Thanks for all the hard work!

wow, you think you should give them a break cause its thier first race with transponders, then why did we have to pay for them. Race 1 was messed up all day and never fix correctly. They had 2 systems, manual and transponders and couldnt get it right. I thought the track was built well but if your gonna force people to pay for transponders then they best work.

They've had time since the first fernley practice to develop these transponders. They should have worked and they did for the first few races, lap times and all

I'm with you mjaymx it's a joke that they are charging so much at the gate $10 buck really. $5 at the gate thats fine and good but don't charge the rider to get in and then pay to race to. lets do this to keep the sport going.
Do't come on here and say their won't be a sport here if we don't charge that $10 to get in thats BS

I'm also wondering why I paid $25 for my transponder on Sunday when the promotion stuff says it was supposed to be $10 for all of 2014? ..."Transponder stickers will be available at the next Club MX775 practice at Fernley on Feb 15th and 16th for $10. This will cover your transponder sticker costs for all of 2014!". And I agree, if they knew that the transponders were not working before Sunday, why did they make us all pay for them? What a serious waste of money. It just goes to show how much these people care about money and how less they care about the riders that make the races. It blows my mind that the local race promoters can't get along well enough to create a solid series with all of the tracks together. We are supposed to be a "moto family" and we get robbed of our money and can't even get a good series going. This is all becoming a straight joke. AND...I did see a rider get run over about 4-5 times in the beginner class. I did not hear of too many people that were happy yesterday. Everyone seemed to like the track, but every thing else was a hot mess. I have been to many races run by others and they all seemed to go fairly smooth. They may have an issue here and there, but nothing like that races that Ty runs. It's always the same bull and it all comes down to him making more money. It really is sad. I'll never go to a race run by him again, that's for damn sure and I know there are quite a few others out there who do not go to stead simply because Ty is the one running it. .

All I'm saying is I'm sure they didn't want problems and I know for a fact that they were doing what they could to rectify the problems. You guys act like the stickers where $100 geez. I paid just like you to race and the transponder gave me the win and it got over turned I didn't complain about it. Everybody is there to have fun and complaining about stuff doesn't bring the community together. Let's just be happy people are trying to give us place to ride.

My problem is they claim to be a non profit but there has to be some coin made into some club account or something somewhere. These race events are not put on as a charity for us to have a place to ride. Do you think it's ok to charge us for a transponder and require something that doesn't even work?

Think of how many of us paid for said transponders only for them to NOT WORK.... It's not like it was only a small handfull of us that paid $10 for them and they didn't work. EVERYONE had to pay for a transponder and some even paid the $25 for the membership. That adds up to a quite hefty amount. That money went to what? It sure as hell didn't go to the system considering it didn't even work. And yeah, they are giving us a place to ride, but they are also charging us up the ass to ride. How is that fun? Yesterday was a straight waste of money. While the track was fun, the issues ruined it for me and a lot of other people too. It's BS to charge so many people for something that didn't even work and the fact that they knew they weren't working and still continued to make people pay for them is what really pushes my button. It sounds like you are ok with handing a greedy ass man money just to ride a track. I never see Exit 28 having problems like this, so I'd be more than willing to pay the money to ride his track and wouldn't complain about the costs there because it's worth it, but I DO have a problem paying money for literally nothing.

I paid, I see no problem with paying $10. The transponder system wasn't free it cost money. The riders have to have them on their bikes to see if they work right.

Well they had some problems yesterday I will agree with that. I also think charging the rider an entry fee and a gate fee is just plain greedy. If the racer is paying an entry fee the gate fee should be waived, I also think that for the younger riders that have to be driven to the race should get either free or discounted gate fees for the person that drives them there. If you don't keep the parents bringing these kids to the track there will not be any racing. I do agree with some people on here that $10 for a gate fee seems a little high. I'm not ready to give up on club775 just yet but things surely need to be changed before the next race. If things don't change then I personally will not be going to anymore of the club mx775 races and I know I'm not alone in the way I feel. All I heard yesterday was bitching and complaining in the pits about everything that was going on yesterday, hopefully all the problems can be worked out soon. I do believe what club mx775 is trying to do is a good thing it just hit a couple bumps in the road. The track was pretty cool. And for everyone on here complaining I do suggest you go to the club mx775 meeting that will be held this Tuesday I believe at the round table pizza on 4th street.

Ty has been doing this for long enough to know what to expect. While Club Mx775 is new, Ty isn't and knows exactly what he's doing. You are spot on calling them greedy because that is exactly what is going on. I'm sure they will come on here and say "you guys have no idea the costs to run these races" and so on, but I do know that Ty does make a hefty profit and sure as hell made some money yesterday.
