The best advise I was ever given came from a new friend of mine and the man who represents RCH/Livfast/Suzuki and Dodge. He is also the man responsible for taking RCH to the top of the leader board in most funded team in SX. He told me this very simple truth, " The only thing talking s*** does is cost you money, maybe not today or tomorrow but 3 years from now when your standing in front of the same person you talked s*** about and now they own or know who owns the CO you want to ride or work for." I find it so damaging when young riders get on social media sites like IG, facebook, mx775 and twitter and talk poorly on other riders, tracks and Companies. We all have opinions of what we would do better or why we think our ideas are far superior. Bottom line is, stay constructive, stay humble and never show your cards till the gate drops. A positive post or no post at all will never put you in a position of losing that job or sponsorship. When people dont post at all, that is a far bigger problem for the track, sponsor or Co. Don't be the rider that people remember for your mouth, be the rider that people remember. We will be announcing some pretty awesome races next week, we are very excited for our new opportunities.
