What a good move by Lawrence! Dungey had his whole program dialed before the season and even as minor as it may seem, having to change contracts and do new photo shoots is another way to take Dungey's mind off of what he needs to be focusing on - Racing and winning. I think Dungey is really weak mentally, he may be a great racer, but I think he won't win a championship if he's that easily affected by Lawrence's actions.
Just my 2 cents. I don't really like Lawrence, but because of his attitude I think he has a better shot at the title than Dungey.

I agree with your post except I'm starting to like Lawrence. He's by far the fastest guy in the 250 class and just maybe one of the smartest. Putting together his program at the last minute sure says something to me. If he gets his stuff together maturity wise (and he may just be doing that) he may turn out to be one of the greats.

lawrence never set anything up.. that kid probably doesnt decide what underwear to put on each day.. i spoke with chris macavoy from yamaha of troy and they honestly didnt have any sponsors committed till the week before aneheim one.. so that being said i doubt him wearing one ind. gear had anything to do with getting into dungey's head, just an added bonus
