I'm desperately bored as Josh has just went home to take care of the dogs, but thought I'd stop in to say hello.
I think it's kinda rad that hospitals have wireless internet these days!
If you're the praying type, say a little prayer for me that they'll figure out what's wrong with me and let me go home soon. I was admitted last night and they're still shrugging their shoulders and saying, "It might be surgical". LOL

Hope they find out what's wrong and it's not serious. Surgery is no fun, I can tell you that.Well it's no fun after you wake up. Take care and get well soon.

Hey Leslie, just got back from Reno and didn't hear from you. If I would have known, I would have stopped by to visit you. I'm really sorry to hear what happened. Hopefully its not too serious and they can get you out of there and back on the bike soon! Get well and keep us posted Leslie!

Thanks Guys! I know we were supposed to meet up sometime yesterday. I was bummed that it didn't work out.
They're saying I should get to go home today.
Essentially, what happened, is at about 1AM on Saturday, I started throwing up and I threw up almost 50 times between 1 and 5. I was so weak that I was falling down and I was so dehydrated by the time I got to the hospital that they couldn't even get an IV in. It took 8 sticks for them to get fluid in me.
I'm on my 9th bag of fluid and they're saying I'm still dehydrated.
At one point, not to be too gross, but bile was backing from my liver into my stomach and I was throwing up bile for a few hours.
It's been pretty crappy!
At first they thought maybe my appendix, maybe my pancreas, but now they're thinking virus because I'm running a fever of about 101, when I'm usually in the 96's and my white blood cell count is high.
It's a wait and see game right now. My nurses are great, the dr's, not so much.

Leslie, I hope you are feeling better! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Being sick isn't fun and when they can't find what is wrong is even worse. I hope you are home now and get back on your feet soon!
