We motocrossers prefer sensible flats, Justin. I don't know what those are Flat shoes. Girls sometimes call their flat shoes "sensible flats." I don't know why I know this.

I really sat back and thought about all it all….Its funny how motocross is always about how good you are at your last race, it’s the same for what you do in helping the sport. I have never done anything to be praised when it comes supporting the sport or be mentioned for all the time donated. But to say I’ve never helped or spent my own money, or never offered to help. Is total BS! And come down to fighting words. I don’t think I’ve ever said no to give a helping hand….My passion has been motocross, my entire life. I have helped many racers and helped with many races for many years, because I have enjoyed it. Cody, do you realize you are agreeing with a 12 year old boy? Who thought he was being funny? I don’t know you and you don’t know me, which I don’t get. Because I helped a Freddy Wiechers his entire motocross career and you said you were his teammate, which for the life of me could remember. So, I did checking up on that, I looked at all the pictures I have (I can name everybody in them) and asked Rich Thorwaldson if he remembers and I can’t come up with him every having a teammate! Sorry. To say I talk bad about GFI and or Mustang, I don’t say anything that I wouldn’t say to Shane’s face or Ty in regards to having an issue, I have given plenty of advice to assist Mustang but you can only do so much and talk to a deaf ear. As for Matt said, we haven’t always seen eye to eye…. Our knowing each other is mixed with BS and if we sat down, it would be put to rest. Too much he said, she said type of stuff. But he’s right about me, but who isn’t a a__hole? LOL Flynhigh, since when is it my responsibility to adjust other riders suspension, nor was I bad mouthing anything. I was voicing a concern and asking questions. As for the time and money, there aren’t many that have put the time I have and I have put my share of money in. But if anybody wanted help setting up their bike, I’m sure I’d give them a helping hand. As for the failure comment, get real…I work in the motorcycle industry and I want all local tracks to succeed….I also never had to hide behind my computer screen! Some of this seems to have started with the Amateur Supercross track, first of all I wasn’t bagging on it or down talking it all. I only asked some simple questions. I have reread what I posted about 100times and I don’t see what was so bad. I have been going to supercross races for a long time, they’re a different breed and are something to take likely and not all for to ride. Ask some that have ridden one on a professional level, set up is hey to survival. You’ll understand my concern… Looper, willraceforchicks, Robert, Preston, Brian, Harvey, Jamie and Gil….Thank you! It’s nice to see some know the real truth… Justin, keep the high heels in the house, they sink the sand.

I think it is crazy to say Layne doesn't help anyone in our sport. One thing I have noticed is Layne has helped such a large amount of people, that the people he hasn't helped seem bitter because they haven't received anything.
Sad but true.

One time my Son, Ben, won a Complete Pro Circuit exhaust system from BVH. His first time out he crashed and dented up the header pretty good. I tried the air pressure and heat method, the water and freezer trick and nothing worked. I went down to BVH and went into Layne's office and asked for a favor. I told him what had happened and asked if he could give me a deal, because I was short on funds.
He reached behind him, pulled out a new header pipe and told me not to worry about it. That's Layne
But.... Like Layne said, we're all assholes at times.

I can personal vouch for the countless time, effort and money that Layne has dedicated to helping out people in the sport. weather it be a local kid or a supercross, motocross, arenacross or Freestyle guy. Everytime someone has asked Layne for help or advice he is usually there with open arms to lend a hand and help out!!!! I am Proud to call Layne a close friend and Sponsor!!!!

You know i have sat back for the past 3 yrs since i left Reno and listen to everyones B*tch points. I really dont get all this drama anymore for the past 13yrs i have been racing motocross and tried to avoid all the drama. Why is it that people have to constantly get on here and start crap with everyone else. You know it seems like people are always talking down to Layne, ever since i first met him he has been a real stand up guy the type who is always will to help the local rider out no matter who you are. For that Layne i tip my hat to you. You have helped a ton with Nevada Mx. The other thing is people attack Tim, Same goes for him i have known Tim for years and he has done nothing but try and make Nevada Mx better. I think both you are great guys and i miss riding with you both. Why cant we leave the drama to the WOMAN and JUST GO RIDE...
