Again, couldn't agree with you more Layne. What difference lies between you and I is likely based on misinformation and a lot of stress on my part, we tend to come together when the shoulders are heavy.
From an out of the box point of view the solution could be simple, the point of capitulation has come to Northern NV moto. HISTORY IS THE FUTURE WITH THE LIGHTS ON (mostly)! I know many of you remember the Dealers Challenge series, the Friday Night races and all that, and most pine for a relapse of those times! There is a lot of moto talent up and coming in that region and they deserve the chance to really come from the 775, and not have to rely only on going over the hill for cohesion and the real deal.
Ty has been at it a long time, and again, he and I have not always seen eye to eye, but thats what happens when we both have brought fuel to a bonfire. I respect the majority who are pushing mediocrity out of the scene up there, under the surface it seems to be coming together. With what was accomplished in Gville last summer, Tims new place, the Fern and what Ty has going on - there really could be a killer movement in the future!!
The point I was trying to make was expressed above (even though I should have waited for the pain killers to die down in my previous post). As for Shane, there are consequences to progression and its called natural destruction, it is happening all around us. Themes, concepts and business models grow irrelevant over time - this is when capitulation must be hit head on, or ponder getting out of the game, giving chance to the true, solid and newer visions. And Robert I hope running this site doesn't bring the hair off your head my friend, you too are a leader and should be commended for your efforts. Layne, you are one helpful dude no matter what. May Northern NV moto have much better days soon! Peace guys.
