Yea, it was fun. Just me and my dog. A barbe and some tri tip and all was good. It only would have been better if I had my son there. Well, next time. B

I was shopping at Winco super early this morning about 6:00am. And who was stocking 7-up products? Yes, hello Frank! He was bummed to have missed out on racing Papa Cody.

Mark, Now you know what I going thru with my son. It kind of hurts. There is a lot of young kids that have been racing the last few years that have had to stop for now to get their lives on track. But they will be back. Buy the way, my nephew works for 7-up. Sorry I had to miss the Mustang bash, but the Lions club kept me busy this weekend. I have a big task ahead of me and it may take every weekend for the rest of the summer. But if we can pull it off, the Lions club will have a new cook shack for the next Fernley race. By the way, the lions club desperately needs a electrician to lend a hand, we will pay for your time. If interested please leave me a p.m. We will be meeting this Thursday. Thanks.

Cat, shopping at 6AM?
Who in their right mind is up shopping at 6AM?
I know many of you have tried to figure out when I sleep so I'll tell you. I live on a well planned out schedule and it works for me. I sleep from about 4 PM till 6 PM, if I have little to do I'll sleep from 4Pm till 8PM and wake up feeling groggy. Then I usualy go back to sleep at about 5AM till 7AM on a good day, more common 6AM till 7:30AM and get to work by 8:00 even though I think I'm supposed to actually be there at 7:30.
It's not so much by choice, but I've been living that exact schedule for so many years now that it's just about impossible for me to adapt to what the rest of you would probably consider a "normal life". It works for me though. I have a life in the computer realm I've been devoted to and relied upon for many years now, and unfortuneatly for me, it's the type of stuff I need to work on without being bothered while doing it and the only chance I get to work without being bothered is when the normal world is asleep. What some people see me donating time wise to local MX, trust me, your seeing a small portion of my time that gets donated in comparison to what I donate time, mind, and energy wise to the Internet community as a whole even though I've actively retired from all that. The current lifestyle works for me, prior to retiring from it all I use to only sleep from about 8AM till 9AM, then Sundays I'd sleep all day and night. Mountain Dew made that all possible for a good 10 years straight before I decided to get what I consider a normal life now.

I don't like the late morning shoppers crowds. You probably could load up on a lot of Mountain Dew at that hour! Instead, I threw a 12 pak of 7-up in the cart to drink on the hot afternoon of the 4th of July. As for your "normal lifestyle" Tony,
