As some of you know, I've taken up racing downhill bikes in the past couple of years, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes motocross. But don't take my word for it: buy my downhill bike from 2010 and try it for yourself. Here are some photos and info on it: I bought this 2009 Mongoose Boot’r new in January, but two weeks ago I discovered a defect in the top tube (a small crack developing on the underside) and Mongoose promptly sent me a brand-new Boot’r Team frame. It was assembled with its new frame on Monday and has not been ridden. The complete bike is in excellent shape and the components show only minor signs of wear (see spec list below). I rode the bike throughout the spring and summer, but always took good care of it. Here are the specs: 2009 Mongoose Boot’r Team frame size L Marzocchi 888 RCV fork Marzocchi Roco R coil shock Sun Ringle MTX 31 wheels with sealed bearing hubs Shimano Saint derailleur/SLX shifter (new cable and housing) Hayes Stroker Trail brakes (8” rotors) Truvativ Hussefelt DH crankset E-13 LG-1 chainguide Wellgo MG-1 magnesium pedals (only two rides old) Azonic Double Wall handlebars (30” wide, 1” rise) with Funn direct-mount stem ODI Ruffian lock-on grips Kenda Excavator 2.5 tires Again, this bike is in excellent shape and is completely ready to ride. Please call Robert at 775-853-8244 or send me a message through here. $1400.
