(As you may know, I like downhill mountain bikes in addition to MXers, so check out the latest one I have for sale if a state-of-the-art, eight-inch-travel bicycle sounds like your cup of tea.
I bought this Glory (size large) new in November 2010 (MSRP $5,700). I've ridden it regularly since then, but I've also looked after it carefully. I rebuilt the forks with fresh seals and oil during the summer, and disassembled the rest of the bike for cleaning and re-greasing on a regular basis.
Last month I found a small crack on the bottom of the top tube/seat mast joint, so Giant replaced my front triangle with a new one. When it arrived, I cleaned and re-greased all of the necessary parts (headset, pivot axles, etc.), installed a new shifter cable/housing, and serviced the fork with fresh oil in the lowers and a thorough cleaning of the seals. It has been ridden once since.
Specs (all parts are 2011 models):
Giant Glory 00 frame (large) with new front triangle
Fox 40 RC2 fork
Fox DHX RC4 shock
Full Shimano Saint group: brakes, crankset, shifter, derailleur and hubs
DT Swiss EX500 front rim/SunRingle MTX-31 rear rim
MRP G2 chainguide
Sunline V1 OS flat bar (762mm width)
Wellgo MG-1 magnesium pedals
ODI Ruffian grips
Fizik Tundra2 seat
Shimano chain (new in September)
Kenda Excavator 2.5 front tire/Maxxis Minion DHF 3C 2.5 rear tire (front Minion changed just after photo)
The bike is still mostly stock, so if you're curious about a part you don't see above, it's probably in line with the original specs:
www.giant-bicycles.com/en-us/bikes/model/glory/7347/44102/
This bike is clean and ready to ride. I'm most likely moving to a different brand for 2012, which is the reason I'm selling it, but its performance and reliability were excellent last season.
I'm asking $2,800. No trades please.
Please send me an mx775 PM to learn more or see the bike in person.
Thanks,
Robert
