Godspeed, Freddy. I miss you, and I know a lot of other people do too.

Nice work on the photos, mxdad, and nice work on the holeshots, Layne. How'd you beat Scotty and his monster 'berg to the first turn?

Sure thing. Glad to know you're helping this cause. Also, you should post the extras you sent me to this one--that was good stuff.

It blew me away the first time I saw the video Josh posted, and I guess it's had that effect everywhere--it's been viewed a ridiculous amount of times, probably because everyone needs to watch it at least twice to confirm how crazy it is.
I still can't wrap my head around some of those moves.

...but because it's difficult to ride a 450 to work, this is probably the next best way to go.

Wow...$8,100. I know it's the cost of progress, but we're getting up there quickly.

Lusk seems like a good guy, but comebacks like this rarely go well. I'd like to see him prove me wrong, but it seems that once you stop racing for a few years at that level, the pace leaves you. Witness the late-career comebacks of Mark Barnett, Ron Lechien and Damon Bradshaw. They all rode decently upon returning, but they were shadows of their former selves.

Jeez, next thing you know they're gonna start installing air bags on dirt bikes..... oy vay! Yeah, that'd be silly... Um, but you don't know anyone who's selling them though, do you?

Jlaws still the man! he'll be coming back when he gets out, i HOPE. look at michael vick, he got right back in the swing when he got out Jamie, he was hardly in the swing when he left. He barely seemed to care about motocross this summer. Still, I hope he learns some sort of lesson from this. But at 22, I'm not sure he will. I think he's still got some major issues to work out--stuff that will take years if he ever does resolve it.

That's not so revolutionary. I've bent my pipe like that plenty of times.
Cool bike though. I'll have a lot of reading and begging for rides to do before I get a new bike.

Pretty sweet. Enjoy all that newness, because it's only that clean once...with the possible exception of Layne's bikes.
