It's the perfect scenario, When he don't win, he'll have an excuse. Of course he will race, Besides he can't go down 25 points this early.

I think he's got to. Otherwise, what a waste the rest of the season would be for him, since he's not racing outdoors.

Reed is a wanker! He likes to talk way too much about any injury, so he has an excuse when RC and Bubba spank him!

I have to admit, im not the biggest Chad Reed fan, but the fact that he was almost in tears on the podium says something, and having a friend that works for the L&M team confirm the injury, maybe your being a little harsh on him? Just a thought.

Sure, I’m being hard on him. But it gets old everybody putting him on a pedestal over winning one supercross title in the 250 class. You have to admit when Reed gets an injury you hear more about it than any other racer. People seem to get a squirreled out over him having a scratch. I have the up most respect for him as a rider and racer, but I think he has a little case of cry baby flu. You don’t hear about everybody else’s injuries as much you hear about Reeds. As for him almost in tears…..It didn’t look like it to me and he seemed fine walking to the pits and over to the Yamaha semi.
Bob, you right. You cant win a title by sitting out, you need to stay in the points each and every race.
The guy who looked to almost be in tears was Nathan Ramsey! The poor guy couldn’t catch a break all night. He rode his ass off! To not make the main by one position…Sucked!

Robert and his dad were fortunate enough to meet Chad Reed today at Lake Elsinore.
What a down to earth, nice guy...here he is at a local track riding and he took the time to sit and talk with them.
To podium at a Supercross is amazing no matter who you are, to do it injured, and on a private team is just awesome. To talk smack about any of these riders is ridiculous. They risk their health, lives, and financial future everytime they ride.
Didn't Nate Tierney miss the main by one position as well...that would have been awesome to see one of locals in the main at Anaheim 1. Hopefully, Nate will be at Anaheim 3 and make the main. I would love to see a local in the main.

I never said he wasn’t down to earth guy….But he isn’t exactly known as the nice guy at the races. Yes, I realize he is there to do his job and it a dangerous one to add to it all, as well as the pressure from sponsors and now running his own team. But in my opinion he does have a case of being a whiner, look at Bubba you don’t hear everybody making a hug deal about his foot and yes he was still having issues with it at Anaheim. As for him being a privateer…..he’s a far cry from that! He has some serious backing from outside sponsors and industry ones too. Did ya notice he’s riding a full factory Yamaha? As for Nate….Well he needs a little more time on a supercross track! He hasn’t had much time on a track like that since Arenocross and without riding something like that on consistent bases, it becomes very difficult to be competitive against riders who train on that kind of a track every day. He was busy surviving the track and didn’t have the chance to really get down and race. We are working on getting him a little more practice and focused! If he doesn’t, he’ll need a surgeon to remove my foot from his ass! Jimmy Hazel, struggled all night too. I think it was a case of first race of the year nerves and feeling a little pressure of it all. Dam....Kelly way to throw out that mom card!

I didn't mean to miss Jimmy Hazel...that ticker tape goes by so fast.
Geeeez Layne...the mommy card ;D
Yeah, the bikes were pretty sweet...Mike said they didn't sound anything like Robert's bikes ;D
Ya know if you would have posted about Bubba's Boo Boo, I would have ooohhhed and aaawwed about it too. They have all raced with significant Boo Boo's from time to time, look at Tedesco and his hand, that had to have hurt too!

The reason Roberts bike doesn’t sound like Reeds, is because the only thing they have in common is they are blue, aluminum frame and have a four stroke engine.
