Dude, your spot on! I'm not saying it just to say it, that was the best track I've ever raced and alot of people were saying that. That track layout tonight was so wicked fast!
It was technical in spots, and still had wide open spots were even I was able to grab into 4th gear on it and felt my throttle bottom out with me trying to demand more speed from my bike! That was so cool! My last moto I even for my first time ever did every single jump and cleared it on the track. For me that was a major milestone and it sure felt good!
I hate that left hand turn start, but how can I complain when I got the hole shot in all my races even against guys in higher classes and guys who have beat me in the past. Leave it to Jerry to push me harder by saying I did a great job getting the hole shots, but let 3 guys pass me into the second turn. I see where thats going, I hold them off into the second turn and Jerry pushes me to keep them back into the third turn.
I'm thinking, I just need to bring back my one handed holeshot and I only seem to be able to do that on start turns I hate, yet still do well on, guess everyone else hates them more?
That was the absolute best track layout I've seen Jerry or anyone pull off to date. The fast sections which I sooooo loved got just choppy enough to remind you this is MX we're racing not paved courses on street bikes, and you had to change gears, the entire gauntlet of gears available to you in order to race that layout. Thats what I'm talking about, that's how it should be. There wasn't any put your bike in just second or third gear and race the entire track there, you had to shift up and down to race that track layout.
That was freakin MX at it's finest!

And I forgot to mention, it was a wicked fast track layout, yet no ambulances and no care flights left there tonight. That in itself is cooler than anything!
We had a couple minor crashes, but nothing the crash victim didn'nt get right back up after and finish racing. It just goes right along with proving what I said in another post here, fast sections on the tracks make for cool racing, not injuries!
It's so nice being able to race your entire moto and not have to do laps under endless yellow flags, Ty.

Tony, don't give yourself to much credit on getting those holeshots. You were on a cheater bike. If you know engine technology, you would know that your engine fires every second stroke. The competitors fire every four strokes. More firing points means more power. Which also means its a cheater bike, resulting in the holeshots. In other words it was the bike, not you... Well, maybe alittle. Bob716SR

then why were the guys in schoolboy saying that those of us 125s were a joke because our bikes are to slow and that we shouldnt be out there.

Bob was just teasing Tony! Bob is right on one thing tho, Tony's 250 is not stock, it is very fast. Bob's son Robert road it one time at Stead and after the race the exhaust was on fire. Robert burned out all the carbon Tony built up. ;D
Tony there is no way ever endless yellow flags at Ty's technical but safe tracks. There is always more care flights at other tracks then there is at one of his tracks. To set the record straight, Ty's jumps are built where you can go for them and if you don't make it then they are casable etc.....

I went Saturday and it was a lot of fun (although I'm sure I'd have had more fun if I were actually on my bike.) Look for event photos shortly on the home page: www.mx775.com
