Boy....I am having a real tough time wrapping my heart around this We have lost a truly great lady that loved and gave tons to moto-x. Lots of behind the scenes for deserving riders. A lot of us aren't going to know where to look for details, so if you have any information, please post it here. RIP friend, Judy

Friends of Cheryl....this is her sister, Lisa....our family's hearts are broken once again for the loss of my sweet and dearest sister. She was my best friend, my confidant, and a healer to all. She loved all of you and forever will. We will bring her home to stay forever. I will post details on my caringbridge site soon at www.caringbridge.org/visit/lisatoenies

I don't really have words for this. Cheryl was one of the kindest people I've known, and I'm so sorry to know she's gone.
Godspeed, Cheryl. We're all better for having known you.

Man I feel like a mess. . . Cheryl was just one of the many people that have touched my life in the Reno area. . . But she is one special lady that I will never forget, she loved unconditionally, and did so much for the mx community like you all have said. I'm a better person for knowing her. . She could always make you smile...even when life didn't look so good at times. We love you Cheryl may you rest in peace.

Although I do not feel that it is appropriate or anyone's business to know where and how she was found, I am going to miss Cheryl Samson. She was such a happy person and always cheered everyone on. I remember being in second one race behind her son, Chris, and she was cheering me on wanting me to catch up to him and make it a good race. She loved the sport of motocross and everyone in it.
Rest In Peace Cheryl

My family and I, are extremely saddened by this. Cheryl has been a very important person in my life for the last few years. She helped me out tremendously and my family. She was definitely a caretaker and quite the moto mom and friend to many. I will miss her beautiful self R.I.P.
I would like to add something. This community has lost quite a number of people the last few years. I think we should all learn a lesson from it. We need to all treat eachother with respect, not run our mouths, and if you care about someone...show them. We are all going through tough times in some way and you never know what an impact one bad word or one good word could make on someones life. The saying life is too short is very true, so let's not take our loved ones for granted.

Dear Nevada Friends of Cheryl,
I was asked to post this to her special friends.....
A celebration has been planned for Cheryl Samson's life on January 28th, from 3-7pm in Nevada. It will be at a private residence. The exact address will be announced when the date gets closer. Please pass the word.
It has kind of been a rough day here in ND this evening.....Hugs Lisa
