Thanks for the kind words! I have to say that both boys are a joy to work with and have there heads in the right direction, and look forward to them having much more success ahead of them! Travis Hudson

I grew up racing in the same areas that ricky ryan and "Deano" raced, san jose, hollister, and lets just say that with deans personality, this sure does fit the bill!!! ha ha, just classic!

Those rolling whoops before the finish were the best thing ever put in there, it made the dash for the finish more interesting, plus it lets the better riders excel. I am all for the track being fast in spots, but the problem with stead is that it usually does not get very rough so the fewer jumps/bumps you have it can turn into a road race course.
Just my 2 cents.

Who knows, maybe the track will become good again, something it hasn't been since the early 90's?

Well damm! I usually just keep quiet and listen to all this B.S. that gets thrown around on here, but this is just stupid. I am originaly from CA and there was a time when Northern Nevada was a hot spot for motocross, and we were exicited to come over and race places like carson city, But the scene here is dead right now, rider turn outs are low, and pride for this sport is in the dumps. Im sorry, its time to stop giving a crap who is putting on the race, or whos doing what and go out and race! Nobody can seem to get along out here, and its killed northern Nevada motocross. If you want to go race the "Fern" oposed to stead, thats fine, make it because you want to ride the fern, not because of who is putting it on. Instead of thinking Fernely is my backyard, How about Northern Nevada is my backyard.

I have to admit, im not the biggest Chad Reed fan, but the fact that he was almost in tears on the podium says something, and having a friend that works for the L&M team confirm the injury, maybe your being a little harsh on him? Just a thought.

I Think we all need to take a deep breath and realize that all scott wanted to do was hold a race for everyone to come out and enjoy on the weekend. And it was! Now can we please go back to talking about something productive, rather than trying to make it so nobody will hold a race here?
