Glad to hear Christian is going to be all right. Heal fast guy and take it easy when you get back to riding.

Having been a runner, until hips told me it was time to quit, I switched to a mountain bike. Can't afford a motorcycle yet. I think the actual answer is to combine different types of training, I know Indy Car drivers do. And I've been told over the years that riding your motorcycle is the best training. So use the mountain bike for cardio but you might also want to incorporate hill climbing into that. Then get on your fast bike and go fast. As for me, been riding again for the past two months (Beat the doc's best guess by almost 60 days.) and it really seems to be helping my injured knee. Thanks Layne for that advice. I'm sticking to almost level ground right now as I can't really stand up on the pedals but that will come and then I intend to start adding some hill training. If you meet many athletes, and I have, you'll find they combine different types of training to arrive at the package they need. And for a motocross racer I'd suggest weight training as well, not for bulk but for strength. Best wishes and see you at Fernley this weekend.

Aron is recovered from a season ending injury last year. He's one of two Nevadans that are racing up there. Anyone guess the other guy? I'll give you a hint, he's from Battle Mountain but lives in Reno. Mainly due to it being easier to catch a plane from here.

Hope they find out what's wrong and it's not serious. Surgery is no fun, I can tell you that.Well it's no fun after you wake up. Take care and get well soon.

Hi Folks: The Tribune followed up on an idea I gave them about this stupid Consumer Protection rule and the effect its having on a local motorcycle dealership. It's in Sunday's paper and now on line at, www.dailysparkstribune.com in the news section. There was even a piece about the rule on Wind Tunnel last night. Hopefully pressure is building that will enable this rule to be over thrown.

Glad you're doing okay. Due to the HIPPA laws I only find out if anyone has been transported and that's what I put in my racing report for the Daily Sparks Tribune. Another stupid law. And Amanda knows what she's talking about, in fact I never mentioned her name in any report until I spoke with her father first. That's why I don't mention names or injuries.

From what I've seen, a taste for sand also helps.
